Facebook wishlist
Wishlist helps users get what they want for Christmas by letting them create a wish list from 3 million products from over 600 high street retailers.
They can display the wishlist on their profile, personalise it, share wishlists, rate products and recommend to friends.
Project details
Objective- Create an effective Affiliate Window technology for affiliate monetisation on social networks.
Background With Affiliate Window we created the original Shop Window app and suggested that they add a wishlist feature to make shopping more social. After testing the product Affiliate Window saw that the wishlist was the core social feature and shopping was secondary so requested a new version with this different product vision.
What we did Using Affiliate Window artwork we created the wishlist tool on Facebook which you can populate with products from 600 retailers (over 3 million products to choose from), review and rate the products, recommend them to friends.
What Happened The wishlist product is fast gaining committed users who want to create and share a wishlist with their friends. Affiliate Window pioneered the use of Social Ads to encourage, for example, Coldplay fans to add the newest album to their wishlist.
