Sony PlayStation Facebook Fan Page
Sony PlayStation already had a global Facebook fan page but on Nudge’s recommendation decided to create a new one dedicated to its European audience to promote specific content.
With Facebook, global brands can deliver local messages.
Sony PlayStation has gathered almost 1 million fans on its U.S Facebook fan page. With this success, the brand was confronted with the problem of addressing different audiences on the same fan page. Nudge advised developing a fan page for Sony PlayStation’s global audience.
This new fan page dedicated to Europe, New Zealand and Australia enables the brand to communicate with fans via the PSP and PS3 tabs and deliver the latest news about their consoles and game releases. The ‘App’ tab shows fans the latest applications developed by PlayStation on Facebook. And if fans want to drill down to more local info, they will find links to fan pages for their own country.
So if you want to be up to date with what’s happening with Sony PlayStation, it is time to : become a fan!
