Social Media for the Web

A key social media technique is to format content for sharing, and the "widget" approach is a great way for companies to do this.

See below for our MySpace app sharing an artist's store, Photobox's slideshow widget and a very cool Facebook Connect integration that we loved (sorry I had to get in one Facebook related article...). Don't forget you can keep up with anything else over in the blog.

Do you remember another social network called MySpace? Vibrant for music it's the forge of artists and bands and a great place to sell music and merchandise.

We worked with the Bizmo to bring bands a customisable music and merchandise store, and they can now load it as a Myspace application. Which is nice.

Slideshows Anywhere

New go anywhere slideshow widget

The new Photobox slideshow viewer we built demonstrates the "go anywhere" widget approach.

Using the tool users can create a slideshow of their photos - share it with their friends or even embed the slideshow on a family web page.
